LDS55625 is a 25 ton brakevan built by British Railways shortly after nationalisation in 1948 to a Southern Railway design. It was constructed at Ashford to diagram 1582, part of lot no 3222. Its TOPS code is ZYP. We know nothing of its operational history, though it was at Barrow Hill before finding its way to the DR.
