Service Information

Rail Strike

GWR tells us that no services will run on the Dartmoor (or Tarka) line on the strike days, June 21st, 23rd and 25th. On the 22nd, 24th and 26th a reduced service will operate. It is imperative to check before travelling (see links below), and to do so as late as possible, as there could be further changes, even on the day.

Furthermore, it is recommended that, even where services are possible, passengers should only travel if absolutely necessary. Services will be busy, and there will not be any replacement buses.

GWR has set up a dedicated web page at https://www.gwr.com/strike with comprehensive details of their plans to mitigate the effects of the strike.

Exeter-Okehampton rail service

The Exeter-Okehampton rail service is operated by Great Western Railway. Rather than trying to reproduce the latest timetable and give up-to-date short term service information, we provide a few links so that potential travellers can get accurate information from the horse's mouth.
